Each element of the cake represents a feature from Harmandir Sahib:
Marble icing = marble floors
Water = Harmandir Sahib is surrounded by holy water where Koi fish can be seen regularly
Square base = Harmandir Sahib has four entrances from different directions signifying openness, welcoming all.
